Bandits & Bolds

Update 4/25/2012 - This group is one of our latest groups each year to breed. We do have a few hatchlings and lots of eggs in the incubators. We do also plan to offer a Bold Snow morph this season.

Bandits and Bolds:  This Morph has such a wide variety of color and pattern. When you are lucky enough to encounter a stand out Bandit or Bold, you are seeing the best that Leopard Gecko breeding has to offer. Every Gecko has something unique and special to appreciate. We do have available Bandit and Bold Leopard Geckos for sale.

 Why is a Bandit a Bandit and a Bold a Bold?

  • Bandits = They have a band across their nose, have higher  color contrast than a Bold, and they keep a higher level of black as an adult leopard gecko.
  • Bolds = Looks like a Bandit without a complete band across the nose.

2012 Breeding Program goal:Our main goal with our Bandit and Bold Leopard Gecko Breeding Program is to produce a group of hatchlings that represent a wide variety of patterns and color traits. Certainly it would be nice to see some interesting body and head patterns as well as some Giants and Super Giants.

Color: He has a nice light white body color with a bright black outlined yellow reverse/jungle stripe running up its back that connects from the base of the tail to the back of the head.  The head is lighter in color with spots and dashes of black. The tail is very wihite in contrast with vivid black and orange marks.

Special Marks: Very nice Snow light color onthe body and head.

Very vivid color and high contrast, one of the nicest posted currently.

Size: 75 grams as of today 5/10/12, just over 9 month old and gaining weight. She has already hit the 60 gram minimum Giant size for female before she was one year old. She needs to hit 90g for Super Giant.

Color: She has a yellow body color with a bright black high contrast marking on the body in a jungle pattern. The head is lighter in color with a complicated design of black. The tail is very white in contrast with vivid black marks.

Genetics:  100% Tremper

Special Marks: Real nice eyes.

Comments: She will make a great addition to any breeding program or collection. She is an high quality example of her morph type.
