LOADING2012- The Year of The Giants
During the last 2 years we at EmberGecko.com have been very busy finding the right Super Giants and Giant Morphs that would fit within our 2012 Breeding Program. The background image on this page is one of our female Super Giant Extreme Raptors. she is a 100% Extreme Emerine Raptor.
We have aquired some amazing Giant and Super Giant Breeders from Ron Tremper, the creator of the Giant morph. One of our main goals for 2012 is to continue what we started in 2011 and greatly increase the size of most of our Hatchlings this season. We have integrated Super Giant breeders into every program for 2012. In many cases all of the breeders are Super Giants. We do have many available Giants and Super Giant Leopard Geckos for sale.
Giant Rule:
Giant
We are currently breeding for the following Giants and Super Giants leopard geckos;
History: The first Giant was developed by Ron Tremper in 2000. The Giant morph is a Co-Dominant trait. Normals do not express the Giant trait at all. Giants express the trait and are the heterozygous form, while Super Giants are the homozygous form of the morph and are the largest and can reach up to 170 grams.
You can read more on this subject in Ron's book "The Herpetoculture of Leopard Geckos". Note that this book is going out of print soon, so don't delay in getting a copy. It realy is a must have book for any Leopard Gecko enthusiast.
2012 Breeding Program goal: Our main goal with our Giant/Super Giant Breeder Program is to produce a group of hatchlings that represent a wide variety of patterns and color traits, while increasing the size of all of our various Morphs.
Update: We currently have many Sub - Adults and Adults available for sale. I will post Giant and Super Giant leopard geckos available for sale and updates on the Home page. you can also follow us on Twitter, we are Ember Gecko.
