Albinos

2012 will be an exciting year for us, and one of the main reasons is the Albino program. We are introducing the XTreme Albino for 2012. Check out the Avalable Landing i have already posted for more info.

We have made a big effort in the last two seasons to not only collect a very diverse group of breeders, but to also make an effort in incresing size. We would truly love to see 100% Super Giants in this group. There is always the next season.

Albino Morphs we hope to have for 2012:

  • Tremper Patternless Albino Leopard Geckos - Super Giants and Giants - Note, a Super Giant male weighs over 110 grams, where a Giant weighs between 80 and 110 grams. Any weight below is considered a Normal. Female Super Giants weigh over 90 grams, and a Giant weighs between 60 and 90 grams. Any weight below is considered a Normal.
  • XTreme Albinos - Super Giants and Giants - Three breeding seasons later and we are ready to offer you the XTreme Albino in limited quantities next seaon. The XTreme Albino program is a spin off of our Extreme Emerine program. We hope to offer up to 40 next year. See the Available Landing for more information.
  • Ember Glows - Super Giants and Giants - We have a had a level of success with crossing an Ember Super Giant male with several Sunglow Super Giant female's, with the results being a bright yellow body and a orange tail much like a sunglow. The head does display a bold orange pattern, and many of these abinos display brightly red veined eyes. Size in this group has been very big. Watch for some huge size here. Note many of these Albinos will be Het for Red and Snake Eyes. Several of these hatchlings have dispalyed a large red spotted pattern on their heads. We do have a very large male breeding into the group that displays this coloration.
  • Banded, Striped, Reverse Striped and Jungle - Super Giant and Giant Albino Leopard Geckos - Typically these Morphs are various scales of yellow, orange and white in color, sometimes with a little bit of Lavender appearing at times. We have made big changes to our breeding program for the 2012 season, with the emphasis on size and color, as well as pattern. We should have as many as 200 of these to offer during the 2012 season.
  • Enigma Albino Leopard Geckos -  We have seen a small percentage of these from our various breeding programs. They can be very unusual in color and personality. Read more on Enigmas on the Available Enigma landing page

Stay tuned for updates. Feel free to let me know if you have an interest in a certain morph or project we are working on and I will try to give you regular updates.

Note: Some of the above mentioned Programs may take several seasons of breeding to accomplish. Some Programs may never be realized, while others will be highly successful.

Update: We currently have many hatchlings, sub-adults and adults. Will post Albino Leopard Geckos available for sale and post updates on the Home page. you can also follow us on Twitter, we are Ember Gecko.
