Sunglows

Most of our Breeder Sunglow Leopard Geckos are Super Giants. On the right is "007", one of our Super Giant Sunglow Males. He weighs 114 grams. He has been picking up weihgtat about 8 grams per month since last seasons breeding ended in June for him.  He is a pure Tremper Super Giant Sunglow Leopard Gecko. He has a very nice pattern on his head and a unbelievable bright orange tail. 2011 hatchlings produced by this male were extrodinary.

Our main goal with our Sunglow Leopard Gecko Breeder Program is to produce a nice group of Giant and Super Giants with fantastic color. We do breed for Super giant size and those with head patterns and those that are totaly patternless. We feel both types are valid and beautiful.

In 2011 we noted some groups of our breeders were producing hatchlings that had Red Veined Eyes. A clear and reconizable change in eye color. its real nice to observe and we felt it deserved some special attention, so you will see more of these next year. We currently have several examples posted for sale on our Sunglow Landing page.

Sunglow Morphs we hope to have for 2012:

  • Super Giant and Giant Sunglows Leopard Geckos - Note, a Super Giant male weighs over 110 grams, where a Giant weighs between 80 and 110 grams. Any weight below is considered a Normal. Female Super Giants weigh over 90 grams, and a Giant weighs between 60 and 90 grams. Any weight below is considered a Normal.
  • Sunglow RAPTOR Leopard Geckos, Super Giants - Our selection of Sunglow Raptors will be much better in the 2012 season. We did produce a small quantity these in the 2011 season that displayed some real good size. We will continue to place emphasis on as near patternless a body as we can get while haveing Red or Snake Eyes. However in saying that there certainly will be some interesting variations in color and pattern also. This group does truly impress.
  • XTreme Sunglow Leopard Geckos - Super Giants and Giants - We have succesfuly crossed our Male Extreme Emerines with Super Giants Sunglows to produce one of the most bright Sunglow you have ever seen, and after a shed they have a green tinge to their color with orange around the eyes. Just beautiful. Will keep you updated.

Note: Some of the above mentioned Programs may take several seasons of breeding to accomplish. Some Programs may never be realized, while others will be highly successful.
